Reishi Berry Herbal Tea:
Feeling like your defenses are weaker than a soggy biscuit? Yearning for a berry-powered boost that'll make your body do a victory dance? Then prepare for Reishi Berry Herbal tea
Let's face it, the 21st century's been a bit of a rollercoaster. We're still waiting on those flying cars, but hey, at least we've got this tea! Because, as your grandma probably told you (and she was right), "Your health is your wealth." And this blend? It's like finding a treasure chest filled with body-boosting gold.
We've packed this tea with a symphony of berries, herbs, and flowers, all chosen for their antioxidant and vitamin superpowers. Think of it as a tiny, delicious army fighting for your well-being. We started with rooibos, the South African sensation that's been on the wellness radar since, well, forever. Then we threw in elderberries, currants, and rosehips – the Vitamin C posse – and because we're generous, we added oranges, limes, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It's like a fruit salad exploded in your teacup, but in a good way.
And then, the Reishi! This revered mushroom, known for calming your farm and finding your inner Zen, adds a layer of earthy depth and ancient wisdom to the berry blend.
This isn't just some wishy-washy herbal tea, folks. This is a flavour explosion that'll make you feel like you've just been kissed by a berry fairy. And the best part? It's caffeine-free, so you can sip it all day long without bouncing off the walls.
Flavour Profile:
Imagine a berry patch having a party in your mouth, with rooibos as the DJ. You'll get a sweet, tangy, fruity explosion, with notes of sunshine and happy thoughts. It's like a hug for your taste buds and a high-five for your body.
HOT BREWING METHOD:
Bring fresh, filtered cold water to a rolling boil. Place one slightly heaped teaspoon of loose tea per 200-260mL cup in your teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and steep for 3-7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength (longer steeping creates a stronger brew).
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Jug):
(To Make 1 Litre): Place six slightly heaped teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot or heat-resistant jug. Using fresh, filtered cold water, boil and pour 315mL over the tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Fill a serving jug a quarter full with cold water. Pour the brewed tea into the serving jug, straining it or removing the tea. Add ice and top up the jug with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. Remember, when brewing iced herbal tea, make the hot brew stronger as it will be diluted by ice and cold water.
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serve):
Place one slightly heaped teaspoon of herbal tea or one tea bag into a teapot per 200mL cup. Using fresh, filtered cold water, boil and pour 170-200mL over the tea. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes. Add the hot tea to a 375mL glass filled with ice, straining it or removing the bags. You'll have slightly more than a single serve. Garnish and sweeten to taste. As with a jug, when brewing iced herbal tea, make the hot brew stronger, as it will be diluted by ice and cold water.
