About Us

Hello, I’m Emma – your local mushroom farmer.

Tucked away in the lush forests and fern-filled valleys of Kiamba, alongside creeks and waterfalls, you’ll find my family-run farm: Rocky Creek Mushrooms. It’s not your typical farm – it’s a place where gourmet and functional mushrooms are grown with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for the land.

My journey began during a challenging period of personal health, which led me to explore natural ways to support recovery and wellbeing. Along the way, I discovered Lion’s Mane mushrooms and their potential benefits for cognitive and neurological health. Finding them fresh and local proved difficult—so I set out to grow them myself.

While my career background has mainly been in the corporate world I have formal training through a higher Diploma in Farm Management and an upbringing with farms and horses, I bring both strategic thinking and practical knowledge to the way I farm. This foundation, combined with a passion for circular, regenerative agriculture, has shaped how Rocky Creek Mushrooms operates today: farming that gives back to the land, rather than taking from it.

Rocky Creek Mushrooms was founded on three guiding values:

Better for people: Our gourmet and functional mushrooms are full of flavour, nutrients, and potential health benefits.

Better for place: We farm regeneratively—returning goodness back into the soil, composting stems, recycling where possible, and minimising waste.

Better for planet: We support local food systems and explore innovative farming practices to help create a greener future.

All of our mushrooms are spray-free, grown in clean, climate-controlled rooms, and hand-picked at their peak to ensure freshness and flavour. Our packaging is recyclable or 100% compostable.  We supply gourmet mushrooms and functional mushroom products—fresh, tinctured, and powdered—to both retail and wholesale customers.

So come and join us on this myco-adventure. Taste the difference of mushrooms grown with love, care, and respect—for you, for community, and for the planet.
