Lion's Mane Focus Pocus: Because Brain Fog is a Myth... Right?
Lost your keys? Again? Can't remember if you fed the cat (or if you are the cat)? You need a little Lion's Mane Focus Pocus! This golden yellow brew, with its piquant mint, earthy mineral mouth-feel, and a cheeky hint of bright citrus, is like a mental spring clean for your brain.
We've taken the memory-enhancing power of peppermint, gingko, and turmeric and cranked it up a notch with our legendary sunshine coast farm grown Lion's Mane mushroom. Think of it as a brain-boosting superhero squad, ready to tackle those mental cobwebs.
Remember that study at the British Psychological Society's 2016 Annual Conference? Peppermint tea boosted memory and alertness. Well, we've gone full wizard on this one. We've added gingko, known to get those brain juices flowing, and turmeric, packing that cognitive-enhancing curcumin punch. And then, bam! Lion's Mane, the mushroom that's basically a personal trainer for your neurons.
So, ditch the brain fog and embrace your inner genius. Forgetfulness? That's someone else's problem now.
For best results, we recommend remembering to drink this tea regularly. (See? We're helping already!) Here's to a sharper mind and a less chaotic life – sip and remember!
HOT BREWING METHOD:
Bring fresh, filtered cold water to a rolling boil. Place one slightly heaped teaspoon of loose tea per 200-260mL cup in your teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and steep for 3-7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength (longer steeping creates a stronger brew).
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Jug):
(To Make 1 Litre): Place six slightly heaped teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot or heat-resistant jug. Using fresh, filtered cold water, boil and pour 315mL over the tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Fill a serving jug a quarter full with cold water. Pour the brewed tea into the serving jug, straining it or removing the tea. Add ice and top up the jug with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. Remember, when brewing iced herbal tea, make the hot brew stronger as it will be diluted by ice and cold water.
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serve):
Place one slightly heaped teaspoon of herbal tea or one tea bag into a teapot per 200mL cup. Using fresh, filtered cold water, boil and pour 170-200mL over the tea. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes. Add the hot tea to a 375mL glass filled with ice, straining it or removing the bags. You'll have slightly more than a single serve. Garnish and sweeten to taste. As with a jug, when brewing iced herbal tea, make the hot brew stronger, as it will be diluted by ice and cold water.
