Children's Make Your Own Mushroom Bucket Workshop

Get ready for a fun, hands on mushroom adventure with Rocky Creek Mushrooms!

In this interactive workshop, children will discover the fascinating world of fungi as they learn about the mushroom life cycle and how gourmet mushrooms grow. Guided by the Rocky Creek Mushrooms team, they'll build their very own 2.2L mushroom growing bucket, filling it with mushroom substrate before choosing their favourite gourmet mushroom variety to add and to then take home.

Choose from five gourmet mushroom varieties (subject to availability) :

🍄 Blue Oyster
🍄 Pink Oyster
🍄 White Oyster
🍄 Chocolate Oyster
🍄 Yellow Oyster

Over the following weeks, children will enjoy watching the  mycellium spread and their mushrooms grow before harvesting their very own fresh gourmet mushrooms at home. It's a fun and engaging activity that combines science, nature and creativity, while inspiring a love of growing healthy food.

This workshop is suitable for children of all ages. Younger children may require assistance from a parent or guardian during the activity.

🕙 Workshop Times: Workshops run throughout the day from 12:00pm, 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm

• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled workshop.
• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the workshop.
• Each child will take home one completed mushroom growing bucket.
